My uncle had a teeter-totter (see-saw) like the one we always played on at my grandpa's house when we were kids. My sister decided that we needed to try it out. I don't remember it being so scary. It really was a lot of fun and that alone was worth the 2 1/2 hour trip.
Bradlee and Braydee had a turn to try it out as well.
I just love this picture of Mackensie when she had her turn. That smile on her face says it all.
Temberlie wouldn't stay on the teeter-totter long enough to get a picture of her. Ky was able to get this one of her being shy.
We had enough pies and cake for every one to have a pie or cake all to themselves. It was a happy Thanksgiving day.
The day after Thanksgiving, we went to St. David for a Sanders' family reunion. It was so nice to sit and visit with everyone.
Then on Saturday my mom had her Christmas party, with her children, in Thatcher (ya! no traveling for that one). She usually has her party the Saturday before Christmas, but she is having surgery on her foot about 2 weeks before Christmas, so we partied early. If was a very fun party.
On Saturday night a couple in our ward threw themselves a birthday party, because they are both turning 30 this year. Everyone invited was asked to bring a main dish to share. We took real mac and cheese and everyone loved it.
We are trying to recuperate after our weekend of parties. I thought we were done with parties for the season, but I have been reminded of a few more. At least we will have a couple of weeks before them.
We hope you all have a happy holiday season!
