Don't you just love Arizona in the Fall?

Okay, so we don't have the painted leaves on the trees, and the temperatures are still in the 80's, but I just love fall. On Saturday we decided to take our city-dwelling kids out to the country and go pumpkin picking. We first got to go on a hayride to the pumpkin patch.

We then were given a set of loppers and sent out to the field to find our own "Great Pumpkin."

The mighty hunter holds his catch aloft!

It's kind of hard to carry when the pumpkin is as big as your head!

A half an hour later, we had our trophies and were ready for the hayride back.

This gorgeous field of sunflowers was near the drop off point of the hayrides.

So that was our fun day at Apple Annie's in Willcox. It's great celebrating the best time of the year!

So much fun! We didn't make it over there this year so far, but it is on our list for November!
