Colossal Cave

Ky had to work most of spring break, but he did take a couple of days off so that we could do something fun with our children. We went to Tucson and went to Colossal Cave with Mark and Lexa and their children.

This is the entrance to the cave.

They call the formations on the wall bacon, because is looks like some very fattening bacon.


This is what they call the living room. There was a guy who used to live in the cave and would give people two day tours of the cave. This is where they would spend the night. This was the kids favorite part of the cave.

They have this old car out side to kind of mark the place where they would let workers in the cave to work on it and get it ready for tours. You can see the brown roof looking thing on the right side on the picture. That is where they would enter the cave.

I think that they really enjoyed the cave the most because they still talk about how awesome it is.
