General Conference Mix!!!

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints, one of my most favorite times of the year is fast approaching. It is General Conference weekend!!!!! I love that it comes around every 6 months. I love to sit in my house and listen to prophets apostles speak to us. I love getting my kids excited for it. I love helping my kids learn the names of the First Presidency and the 12 apostles.

One thing that we do only at Conference time is make a snack mix. We all love the mix. Since we only make it at General Conference time, the kids all get excited for General Conference. We call the mix General Conference Mix.

It always includes...

Bugles
Pretzel sticks
Peanuts (Roasted and salted of course)
Craisens (not the kids favorite, but the parent's favorite)
M&M's (we have peanut butter M&M's in Easter pastel colors for this mix)
Some kind of cheese crackers (we have cheese bunnies since it is Easter time)

In October we put candy corn in it and rescess pieces in it for the fall colors. We even put the rainbow fish in it last October.





I am so excited for this weekend. I hope you all enjoy General Conference!
